Yash Chopra is going to repeat a scene in his forthcoming movie Bunty or Bubli in the historical Lodhi Gardens in New Delhi. Interestingly, this is the place where Yash Chopra had shot his movie Silsila in 1981with Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha. Actress Nagma has taken the cause of slum dwellers of Delhi. She spared some time for them located near a government colony in South Delhi, who are facing eviction from their Jhuggis. Nagma led a delegation of citizens seeking redressal of their problems. She met the Union Urban Development Minister Mr Gulam Nabi Azad and submitted a memorandum to him for implementing the earlier proposal of converting the area into a model basti. Actor Priyanka Chopra got a reprieve in a cheating case on as the Bombay High Court stayed the proceedings initiated against her at the lower court by her former secretary, Prakash Jaju. Chopras lawyer Satish Manishinde, who had consulted a handwriting expert, claimed that two pages of the agreement had been forged. The court, after hearing the parties, observed that prima facie no case was made out against Chopra and stayed the proceedings in the lower court.
